47 years ago, I took my first step into the world of franchising, little did I know that it would lead me to a lifelong journey full of rewards. Working in operations for a franchisor in the mid-70s gave me the necessary experience and exposure to the industry. But it was teaming up with experienced franchise experts that set me on the path to starting my own franchise, which later went public and was a huge success.
My next venture was a troubled NASDAQ franchise that I turned around and was subsequently acquired by a stronger publicly traded entity. This success led me to a career in investment banking for the next decade. While I enjoyed advising people on the best course for investing their funds, I realized I couldn’t predict the market’s day-to-day performance. I craved more control over my life and a way to build more equity with less stress. So, I turned back to franchising, which gave me more control over my financial future and life.
Fast forward to the early 2000s, and I found myself instrumental in the startup and success of another franchise system that grew significantly over the next decade, attracting private equity investors. However, after taking a hiatus and becoming bored, I realized that I needed a purpose in life. With the freedom to live my dream every day, I decided to help others do the same.
I have been blessed many times over in life and want to share my knowledge and experience with others. Today, I take great satisfaction in guiding others through the educational and logical process of living their dream of business ownership through franchising. It’s a way for me to give back and help others achieve their goals.
For more than four decades, I have been engaged in various activities related to business, including acquiring existing companies, launching new ventures, and reviving struggling enterprises. However, my ultimate professional aspiration is to assist individuals in achieving their dreams of business ownership.
Throughout my extensive career, I have gained a wealth of experience and expertise in the realm of business.
